My father, also a designer, originally worked with the owners of this home back in the 70's... crazy how things have come full circle! The basement got a complete overhaul! We knocked out a wall to expand the long narrow bathroom and add a tub. A bedroom at the base of the stairs became on open area with a bench seat for grandkids to play games and read books. Now you walk down the stairs to this charming space rather than directly into a hallway. They entertain people in their home constantly. The basement is now a inviting place for their friends and family to stay!
